Write for CherokeeGAnow.com

Residents and local businesses are welcome to share articles about life in Cherokee County.

What we publish

• Local stories and community news
• Lifestyle, family, home and garden, health and wellness
• Holiday crafts, recipes and seasonal ideas
• Arts, outdoors, local history and things to do

Ground rules

• Write it yourself, or have permission to publish it. Do not copy other sites.
• Use only photos you own or have permission to use, and credit the photographer.
• Businesses are welcome to share useful expertise (a gardening tip from a nursery, a recipe from a bakery). Articles that are only advertising will not be accepted. Use our advertising options for that.
• Links are allowed but are marked nofollow, so they do not help search rankings.
• Keep it at least 200 characters, be accurate, and be kind.

How it works

1. Sign in and choose a display name. It is shown as your byline.
2. Write your article and submit it. You can have up to 3 waiting at once.
3. An editor reads it, and may publish it, ask for changes, or decline it. We email you either way.
